DEFENDER (Wool)

＜Japanese made High Functional socks＞

We look to create a super deodorising pair of socks, that mixes the amazing deodorising properties of Merino wool, with nylon which has a deodorising function. As the socks are made from a wool pile knit, they are not only good for outdoor activities, such as mountain climbing or hiking, but also for everyday use! We have prepared colours that are also great for any gender or age, that can be loved for a long time! 

<Materials>

We have made the socks using wool, which has a natural deodorising property, along with nylon yarn that has deodorising properties to make a super effective anti-odour pair of socks. A combination of the natural anti-odour properties of the merino wool as well as the nylon that also has deodorising properties can be found in the sole. On top of being able to absorb a large amount of ammonia odours and so on in a short amount of time, thanks to the amount of anti-odour elements found in the fabric, its degree of saturation is also extremely high. You can experience a brilliant speed of absorption as well as a brilliantly large amount of absorption all in one. 

<Function>

・STRIPE HOLD WEAVE

In order to make the fit to the foot better, we use a special triangular spiral knit on the back of the calf and the sole of the foot. This helps to support the ankle and reduces the burden on the foot when you’re moving. 

・Y HEEL

When we knit the heel of the socks, we made the seam bigger and three-dimensional and made it into a Y heel shape that matches the 90-degree angle of the foot when flat. By giving it this three-dimensional structure, it helps to fit and hold to the heel and makes it more comfortable.

・ACCORDIAN-LIKE KNIT

On the front side of the sock, we have used an accordion-like knit structure, which reduces the pressure that would normally be felt with normal socks.
What’s more, combined with the Y-shaped heel, it allows the socks to smoothly fit to the shape of the foot and give a natural comfort without it moving about. 

・SOLE SUPPORTING PILE KNIT

The toe box of the socks is made of a thick pile that wraps the toes and acts as a cushion while supporting the sole. 

・LEG SUPPORTING PILE KNIT

The front part of the socks is made of a durable pile knit, that works to protect you not only during your everyday life but also while you’re hiking or climbing from tree branches and other items.

・MESH FABRIC

The top of the socks where it rests on the foot is made of a mesh,  which gives it a breathability that allows for moisture to escape. During hot summers or when doing activities that cause you to sweat, it makes the socks much more comfortable to wear and feel airy.
