Some of the worst wearing socks. I have ever purchased. And by the way, I knit a lot of my own socks which have had no problems over many years.
I think the problem is the short-row heels that are being used with a woollen yarn (they have obviously used a CSM which cannot cope with a good quality heel flap and gussets). Essentially breaking down after a couple of wears.
In short, buyer beware. This is meant to be one of the best sock manufacturers. But truthfully, they are not suitably modified.
I will of course darn these. But from now on will stick with making my own.
