The people of Finland have the custom of “Fika”, or tea time, as they pass time through the long, cold winters. A way to commune with family and loved ones. These socks warm not only your body but the heart as well.
These socks use Dralon cotton yarn, a cotton and acrylic mix yarn. Cotton by itself tends to result in socks that gradually become rougher and stiffer over many washes and wears. Acrylic is a good material for socks, as it brings and maintains softness. Some other features of Dralon cotton: hypo-allergenic, easy to clean, quick-drying and odor-resistant.
This pattern caught my eye straight away. The colors pop as well, which is an added bonus! The fit is great, the material is comfortable.
