Navajo rugs are hand-woven rugs that use sheep's wool that is made into yarn and dyed. In the beginning, the Rio Grande design, with its characteristic stripes, was most common. The dyes were said to be a mix of the indigo brought by the Spanish and the yellow native to the region.
Materials: Cotton, acrylic, nylon, polyurethane.
There are many kinds of yarn and through our experience of decades in the socks business, we use yarns that are particularly suited to socks. For CHUP, certainly only the most optimal yarns that help realize the low-gauge construction and vivid designs will do!
These socks use Dralon cotton yarn, a cotton and acrylic mix yarn. Cotton by itself tends to result in socks that gradually become rougher and stiffer over many washes and wears. Acrylic is a good material for socks, as it brings and maintains softness. Some other features of Dralon cotton: hypo-allergenic, easy to clean, quick-drying and odor-resistant.
I've been a fan of Chup socks for a few years now. They are beautiful, comfortable and hard working. Last month I received a compliment on my socks from an old friend. I sent them several pairs as a gift and received effusive thanks. I am sure that they will be as delighted with them over time as I am.

Love the look... not the fit.
These are the coolest looking socks around! Sadly the fit is very specific and pretty rigid. I had a hard time getting these off and on. Even following the size guidelines these are a no go.
